DYNEST™ Skateboard Bushings
Progressive support for the way you ride
DYNEST™ spring bushings are designed to give you easier turn-in at the start of a lean and more support as you push deeper. Choose the truck family that matches your setup, then choose your feel and quantity.
Shop by truck, feel, and quantity
| If you ride | Choose | What to buy |
|---|---|---|
| HST trucks | HST Spring Bushings | One rear-truck bushing per replacement |
| Longboard RKP trucks | Longboard Spring Bushings | Single, pair for one truck, or set of four for a complete board |
| Street TKP trucks | Street Spring Bushings | Single, pair for one truck, or set of four for a complete board |
Choose the right quantity
- Single replacement: one bushing for replacing one worn or damaged part.
- Pair, one truck: one roadside bushing and one boardside bushing for a single truck.
- Set of 4, complete board: two roadside bushings and two boardside bushings for both trucks on one board.
Pairs and complete sets are matched by feel. You do not need to choose roadside and boardside separately when buying a pair or set.
Choose your feel
- Soft, Orange: easier turn-in and a more forgiving initial feel.
- Medium, Purple: balanced response for mixed riding.
- Hard, Green: more support for higher speed, heavier riders, or a firmer setup.
The color identifies the feel. Technical material and size codes remain in the product specifications and SKU.
Roadside or boardside?
On Longboard and Street single-replacement products, roadside means the bushing closest to the road and boardside means the bushing closest to the deck. If you are replacing one specific bushing, match its position. If you are buying a pair or complete set, the correct combination is already included.
Front and rear?
I strongly prefer softer in the front and harder in the tail — for example, Purple front, Green rear is the setup most of our heavy/aggressive riders land on, and it's what makes a drop-through pump like a surfskate. Lighter riders prefer Orange front, Purple rear. Buy two pairs to mix, or start with a Sampler if you're not sure. Up to you.
What makes DYNEST different?
DYNEST is a spring-elastomer composite: a precision compression spring cast fully inside solid polyurethane. That structure is designed to feel compliant early in the lean and progressively firmer as the load increases, without special hardware or lubrication.

Frequently asked questions
What do I need for one complete board?
Choose the matching Longboard or Street Set of 4, Complete Board. It includes two roadside and two boardside bushings for both trucks.
What is included in a pair?
A pair includes one roadside and one boardside bushing for one truck. If you are rebuilding both trucks, choose the complete set of four.
Is the HST bushing sold individually?
Yes. HST bushings are sold individually for the rear truck. Choose the feel that matches your setup.
Do I need to break in DYNEST?
Yes. Like most performance bushings, DYNEST needs a short break-in period, typically the first ride or two depending on how aggressively you ride. Expect slight softening early on before the feel settles in.
Does DYNEST need special hardware or lubrication?
No. DYNEST installs like the bushing you are replacing. Nothing needs to be lubricated, and no new hardware is required.
