Name: Summer Conner

Bio: Born and raised in Southern California, I grew up surfing with my family and camping at Doheny when school got out for the summer.  Surfing and skating have always brought me joy, but anything outdoors is where I’m most happy, whether it’s swimming, running, or hiking.  I’m a big fan of roadtrips (especially along the coast). And I just graduated from Vanguard University with a degree in History and Political Science!

Hometown: Fullerton

Favorite hamboards: Hands down the Classic.  I would have never become comfortable with cross-stepping and noseriding on my surfboard if it wasn’t for the Classic!  And when my arms get tired of lugging that board up hills, I switch to the Pinger, which is slightly smaller and really fun to carve.

Favorite food: Dark chocolate anything.

Favorite place to skate: There’s this really long, slow hill in a neighborhood somewhere in Dana Point that my friend and I found.  We’ll spend hours walking uphill and skating back down.

Something interesting about myself: I can play Bohemian Rhapsody on the piano.
